About Me

  My entry into communication design followed a non-traditional path. I initially pursued computer science, drawn to structure and logic, but through my involvement in my high school band program, I began designing posters, editing photos, and creating visual materials for my section. What began to support my peers quickly became a deeper exploration of visual communication and storytelling. I became interested not just in how things looked, but in how design could influence perception, build identity, and create recognition. Over the past four years, my practice has evolved from basic sketching into the development of branding and visual identity systems that balance structure with expression. I am particularly drawn to projects that require clarity, cohesion, and intentional visual language.

My personal philosophy is grounded in manifestation, the act of transforming internal ideas into tangible realities, whether physical or digital. I am driven by the process of taking an abstract concept and shaping it into something visible, functional, and meaningful. I define successful design not solely by aesthetics, but by its ability to create connection and resonance with an audience. My process is collaborative and iterative, beginning with research and understanding the brief and target audience, followed by concept sketching, typographic and color exploration, and the development of refined mockups. Through critique and revision, I treat each project as a living document, allowing it to evolve through feedback and reflection. I believe skill is built through dedication and repeated practice, and this mindset informs the way I approach every project with curiosity, discipline, and openness to growth. Ultimately, I aim to create thoughtful visual systems that are both expressive and purposeful, leaving a lasting impression beyond surface-level aesthetics.
